McAuley Engineering is committed to continuous improvement and innovation. To support new and current projects, we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician to join our team at the Ballymena Road site, Ballymoney.

Drawing from your previous experience in a manufacturing environment, you will follow a production schedule to ensure sub-assemblies and final products are completed in time for delivery to our customers, continually seeking to deliver high quality outcomes while striving to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through continuous development and improvement throughout your role.
To be successful in this position, it is essential that you have the ability to:
- assemble parts to standards specified in engineering drawings.
- plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
- test products or sub-assemblies for functionality and quality.
- troubleshoot problems using appropriate equipment.
- review production process effectiveness for quality and productivity.
- assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures.
- keep a clean and tidy work area.
- provide advice and training to other technicians when necessary.
- work well as part of a team.
It is also desirable if you have:
- a willingness to work additional hours as needed during busy periods.
- a working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- experience in the use of machine tools ( e.g. lathe, bandsaw, etc.)
- the motivation and aptitude to learn new skills.
