GL Filtration Ltd are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our team.
We specialize in the design and manufacture of filtration and drying equipment for the Pharmaceutical and related industries.
The machines you will be operating are an XYZ Lathe with Prototrak operating systems, and a webster bennet vertical lathe with an option to learn an M.T.E bed mill
The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic about engineering, self motivated and be able to read/understand engineering drawings to then be able to manufacture parts
The candidate should also have a wealth of knowledge working with various metals, particularly Hastelloy, Inconel and various grades of stainless steels
We also have opportunities to progress and learn other machining processes and operating systems.
Training can be given on XYZ + Siemens operating system if necessary
You will be joining a small team, you should ideally be:
- Confident in working to tight tolerances
- Willing to work as part of a team, contribution to process and tooling improvements
- maintain good housekeeping
- ideal candidate will be time served or apprentice trained
Basic 40-hour week Monday to Friday with Friday being an early finish
Monday 7.30 – 4.30pm
Tuesday 7.30 – 4.30pm
Wednesday 7.30 – 4.30pm
Thursday 7.30 – 4.30pm
Friday 7am – 1pm
Overtime available during busy periods and will be paid at x 1.5
No shifts
All PPE will be provided
20 days holiday PLUS statutory holidays.
Accumulating 1 day per year up to 25 days
Christmas shutdown
Salary depending on skill level and experience.
