Camperdown Nursery is a private children's nursery in Prestonpans, East Lothian providing care and education to up to 24 children, aged 2-5 years. We are looking to employ a full time Nursery Apprentice, to join our fantastic team. The successful applicant will be a person who is kind and caring and who has a love of children and a desire to support, nurture and care for children through their early year’s development.
The applicant will be keen to pursue a career in childcare and will be offered the opportunity to obtain a qualification to become a fully qualified practitioner.
The position is a full time vacancy working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, on a rota basis, with paid lunch and breaks. 5 weeks holiday per year plus 8 statutory holidays which are taken during the nursery closure over Christmas. Successful candidates will be expected to register with the PVG scheme, register with SSSC and supply 2 references.
