Duties

- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their dining experience
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation and serving processes
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and service stations throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order accuracy and timely service
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support in basic food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to safety protocols
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety practices, and basic culinary concepts is advantageous
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for billing and transactions
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service times
- A proactive approach to upselling menu items and enhancing guest satisfaction
