Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join us as a vehicle transport and recovery driver where you will be operating 3.5t recovery truck with a trailer.
To be considered for this role you must have prior experience with either 3.5t recoveries/vehicle transport or vehicle towing.
Duties
- Safely operate 3.5t recovery trucks with trailers
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning of the vehicle.
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times, delays, or issues that may arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and stock organisation.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies throughout all duties.
Skills
- Experience driving comercially, ideally trailering.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and dispatchers effectively.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems efficiently and plan routes ahead of time. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safe driving practices, punctuality, and delivering exceptional service across all tasks undertaken.

Pay: £24,420.00-£39,944.28 per year
