About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manager/Supervisor to oversee demolition operations on a busy site. The successful candidate will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of all demolition activities while leading a team of operatives to the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day‑to‑day demolition works in line with site plans and RAMS
- Lead and coordinate demolition operatives, ensuring safe working practices
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and daily checks
- Ensure compliance with NFDC, HSE, and site‑specific regulations
- Liaise with site management
- Monitor progress, report issues, and maintain accurate site documentation
- Support the implementation of environmental and waste‑management procedures
- Identify hazards and enforce corrective actions promptly
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience supervising demolition teams
- Strong understanding of demolition techniques
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings and method statements
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Desirable Qualifications
- CAT B Asbestos Certification
- First Aid at Work
Pay rate depends on tickets & experience.
