Public Area Cleaner

Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Public Area Cleaner to join our friendly Housekeeping team.
Set within a beautiful historic country house overlooking the Cheshire countryside, Shrigley Hall is a busy hotel, spa and golf resort. You will play an important part in ensuring our public areas are always clean, welcoming and presented to the highest standard for our guests.
Your Main Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas, including corridors, lounges, toilets and shared spaces.
- Ensuring all areas are spotless, tidy and ready for guests.
- Replenishing guest and cleaning supplies.
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Following health and safety, hygiene and COSHH procedures.
- Supporting the wider Housekeeping team when required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Is reliable, punctual and comfortable starting at 6:00am.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Can work independently and manage their daily tasks.
- Is hardworking, positive and willing to support the team.
- Is comfortable in an active role that involves being on their feet.
Previous cleaning or hotel experience would be helpful, but full training will be provided to the right person.
You will work 6:00am to 12:00pm, five days per week, including some weekends.
