Extreme Scaffolding is an established Scaffolding & Access company currently turning over £8.5m per year. We serve a wide area from our base in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, including Stevenage, Letchworth, Bedford, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Greater London.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office and Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring effective communication across departments. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming telephone calls, handling enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Welcome and assist visitors to the office, ensuring a positive first impression at all times
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional office environment
- Monitor the shared information inbox, responding to correspondence, queries, and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Manage incoming and outgoing post, including distribution and arranging collections
- Set up email accounts, IT equipment, and phones for new starters, and resolve IT and phone-related issues for existing staff
- Book jobs as required and support operational scheduling
- Purchase office supplies, PPE, and equipment, ensuring best value for money
- Register tool warranties and coordinate tool repairs in a timely manner
- Apply for street licences and accreditations, monitoring expiry dates to ensure continued compliance
- Manage vehicle administration, including renewing vehicle tax, arranging leases, and updating insurance and tax details for new company vehicles
- Report vehicle incidents to the insurance broker promptly
- Issue and monitor fuel cards, resolving any related issues efficiently
- Ensure all Daily Safe Start inspections are completed each day
- Carry out any additional ad-hoc administrative duties as required, including PA support to the Director.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- We are open to considering a job share arrangement, with two candidates sharing the responsibilities and working hours of the role.
