Part-Time | Bakery & E-Commerce Operations
We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Relations & Administrative Assistant to join our growing bakery team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our store and online operations. This is an admin based role.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer communications, coordinating bespoke celebration cake orders, and overseeing e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and bring a proactive and professional approach to customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bespoke cake orders by gathering customer requirements, preparing quotations, and liaising with the baking team
- Respond to customer enquiries via email, Instagram, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner
- Oversee e-shop operations, including order processing, coordination of packing, and customer updates
- Maintain accurate customer and order records, ensuring all details are processed efficiently
- Support smooth daily administrative and operational processes within the bakery
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or bakery environments preferred
- Proven experience managing e-commerce or online shop operations is essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and orders simultaneously
- Confident using e-commerce platforms and general computer systems
- Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented approach
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy seasonal periods, including weddings and holidays
