Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pub Cook to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced pub environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a range of pub-style dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of the kitchen, including stock control and cleanliness
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold the establishment’s reputation
- Assist with menu planning and development as required
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of food and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or pub setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience in meal preparation, culinary tasks, or serving is desirable but not essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts, mainly evenings Monday - Thursday but occassional weekends or holidays may required

Pay: £12.21-£15.50 per hour
