Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Steel Fabricators/Welders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
- Use TIG welding techniques to join metal parts with accuracy and consistency, ensuring strong, clean welds.
- Operate various power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other steel components.
- Fabricate metal parts by measuring, cutting, bending, and assembling materials according to project specifications.
- Perform quality checks on welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with safety standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve processes for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment for sheet metal work.
- Mechanical knowledge related to steel fabrication, assembly processes, and material properties.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Prior experience working with sheet metal, structural steel, or similar materials is preferred but not required.
