Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per year, depending on experience
Location: London & M25 Corridor | South East England
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Engineer to join our growing team, working across commercial and residential sites throughout London, the M25 corridor and the wider South East.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working hands-on, solving technical problems, and supporting the development of the next generation of HVAC professionals.
The Role
As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, planned and reactive maintenance, commissioning, and fault-finding of a range of HVAC and air conditioning systems.
A key part of the role will be mentoring and supporting HVAC apprentices, sharing your knowledge and practical experience to help them develop their technical skills and progress within the industry.
You will work across a variety of commercial and residential environments, providing a professional and reliable service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain HVAC and air conditioning systems
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records
- Carry out fault-finding and system diagnostics
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Work professionally with customers, clients, and other contractors
- Mentor, support and train HVAC apprentices
- Share technical knowledge and best working practices with apprentices and colleagues
- Travel throughout London, the M25 corridor and the South East
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer
- F Gas Category 1 certification – essential
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
- Previous experience mentoring or training apprentices – essential
- Good knowledge of HVAC and air conditioning systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability and willingness to travel across London and the South East
- Professional approach with good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
