Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organisation in our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial settings is highly desirable.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a pristine appearance throughout the premises.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all linens and uniforms are cleaned and stored properly.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; hospitality or janitorial experience will be considered advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
