We are looking for experienced self-employed multi-traders, preferably an established team, to carry out social housing repairs and refurbishment works across London.
This is not limited to brand-new installations. Applicants must be confident diagnosing problems, completing repairs, making good existing work and leaving properties finished to the required social housing standard.
Work may include:
- Kitchen and bathroom installations and repairs
- Carpentry and general building repairs
- Plumbing and minor associated works
- Painting and decorating
- Flooring installation and repairs
- Tiling and making good
- Plastering and patch repairs
- General void-property refurbishment and maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social housing repairs, maintenance or void refurbishments
- Ability to complete both new installations and repair/make-good work
- Own suitable van or reliable transport
- Own professional tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of finish
- Reliable, professional and respectful when working in occupied or empty properties
- Valid right to work in the UK
- UTR and eligibility to work on a self-employed/CIS basis
- Public liability insurance preferred
We are particularly interested in established teams that can cover several trades and complete kitchen, bathroom and full-property refurbishment works from start to finish.
