Customer Service Administrator / Internal Sales
The role is primarily that of ensuring that all our customers’ orders go to schedule and are completed accurately, on-time and to budget.
This is an office-based role working within a small team at our fantastic factory premises in Ashford in Kent. The role requires constant planning and liaison with our Installation and Manufacturing teams, as well as with customers.
The role also encompasses a wide range of tasks:
· Communicating with customers and our in-house Installation Team
· Liaising with the Sales Team in respect of changes to specification
· Ongoing communication and liaison with the Manufacturing Team
· Cost checking all orders on receipt
· Answering customer queries and planning of scheduled maintenance
The ideal candidate:
You will need to be able to visualise blinds and glazing from drawings and have a technical appreciation so that you can be trained in all of our products. It would be helpful if you came from a relevant background, but it is not a firm requirement, as we value personal aptitude and enthusiasm just as highly.
You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, perhaps in a customer service role, with the ability to keep a cool head when under pressure.
Excellent telephone manner, numeracy and written skills required to enable you to communicate professionally by phone and in writing, both by post and email. Highly organised approach to managing a busy workload with experience with Microsoft Office and working with databases.
