Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 37.50hrs per week.
Role Purpose:
To assist the Merchandiser on a day-to-day basis through effective planning, managing the supply base, re-forecasting sales and intake and ensuring optimum range availability
Responsibilities will include:
· To manage the delivery schedule in line with stock and intake targets
· To work with the Buying team to manage the critical path
· To maintain good working relationships with internal and external suppliers
· To identify sales/stock opportunities and threats through line reporting and analysis
· To maintain accuracy of Line Cards to maximise the availability of core lines
· To support the Merchandiser in preparing for meetings and presentations
· To give support and direction to the Merchandise Administrator
· To deputise for the Merchandiser as required
Ensure all administration documentation procedures are maintained
To undertake general departmental administration work, under the direction of the Merchandiser
· Other duties as required by the Merchandiser
Selection Criteria:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- IT literate and confident user of Excel formulae
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communicator
- Numerical and methodical approach
- Attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
- A proven self-starter
