We are currently looking for an activities and wellbeing co-ordinator at our home Springfield's Nursing Home in the village of Copford in Essex. The position is 25 hrs. per week. Bank holidays are part of the working rota. The role will consist of arranging and carrying out various interactive activities for the residents within the home. The Activities and well being co-ordinator is a central role in our team reporting directly to the Home Manager. Experience is preferred. Must also be able to cover annual leave when required.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents in the home.
- Foster effective communication with residents, families, and staff to enhance the overall well-being of our resident.
- Monitor and support residents ensuring their safety and comfort during activities.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to assess individual care plans and adapt activities accordingly.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and emotional support among residents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in care home settings
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents and staff
- Background in nursing home environments
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly residents.
