Skilled Laminator / Boatbuilder wanted for our busy boatyard in the heart of Cornwall. Good rates of pay offered, must be reliable, hard-working team player with the energy and drive to push build projects forward.
Full time permanent contracts available working on range of ongoing projects, from commercial fishing boat builds and refits to yacht construction and composite moulding.
Job Description
- All aspects of boat repair and refit
- Custom GRP moulding, laminating and fitting of components
Essential Skills
- Ideally be an all-round hero with a range of boatbuilding skills
- Eager to learn and work hard within a small team
- Be confident using power tools
- To be accurate and able to follow instructions as well as take charge of tasks
- Be physically fit and reliable
- Be experienced in laminating, boatbuilding and carpentry.
Location
Based at our yard in Padstow but may require travel to some projects
