Care Home Head Cook - Garforth, £14.10 P/H
We are a dedicated provider of residential care services specialising in dementia care and general support.
We are seeking a dedicated Head Cook to lead our kitchen team. This vital role involves preparing nutritious meals that meet our residents' needs while upholding our values. The role will involve working four shifts per week from 11.30am-17.30pm over a seven day rota.
Ad hoc additional hours will be granted for deep cleaning, supervision of the kitchen team, menu planning and other associated duties.
Responsibilities
Lead food preparation and cooking activities to deliver high-quality meals for residents.
Ensure all food safety standards and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory control and meal planning.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a cohesive team.
Collaborate with care staff to accommodate specific dietary requirements.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Develop menus that offer variety and nutritional value.
