Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and time management are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle customer orders efficiently while delivering exceptional service with a friendly attitude.
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including light snack or pastry service.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policies at all times.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote products or specials.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role is desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Experience in serving customers efficiently with excellent communication skills.
- Basic food preparation skills for handling snacks or light meals if required.
- Good basic maths skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
