A vacancy has arisen for an Energy & Sustainability Administration Officer to join the team that is delivering the net-zero and sustainability agenda at NHS Forth Valley.
This role reflects the importance the organisation places on the net-zero agenda and signals our intent to take significant steps to contribute to decarbonising the estate and reducing the impact of our activities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated person who will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative support services to the Climate Change & Sustainability Team.
Challenges include managing a varied and diverse workload and ensuring the provision of a high quality, comprehensive and timely administration support function. The post holder will have the opportunity to access appropriate training, dependent on their individual requirements.
The post holder’s primary focus would be on energy management, carbon reduction, achieving the Board’s net-zero ambitions and supporting delivery of the Board’s wider climate emergency response. However, there will also be a requirement to assist the wider Estates Team with the administration e.g. Asset registers and various computerised telephony systems.
You must evidence ability to work well with others, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a well-developed organisational ability. Previous experience in providing administration support in a project environment is desirable.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
