Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance with their tasks as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.
