The George and Dragon, Clifton (CA10 2ER) has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the award winning kitchen team as a Chef de Partie
The George and Dragon is a cosy village inn with 14 bedrooms, located on the A6 in Clifton, Cumbria. We pride ourselves in offering an exceptional stay and dining experience.
Part of Ciel Hotels Ltd, we also operate Askham Hall with it's Michelin starred Allium restaurant and The Queens Head inn in Askham village. The George and Dragon restaurant offers a high quality dining menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients from the Lowther Estate and kitchen gardens.
Candidates will have the opportunity to learn from and develop alongside a skilled and friendly senior chef team. Your passion and attitude is as important as your previous experience.
We are based in a rural location so you must be able to reliably commute or be willing to re-locate. The nearest town is Penrith, Cumbria.
Salary based on a 5 day working week, including evenings and weekends.
In addition you will receive and equal share of gratuities , approximately £3,000 per year and excellent working conditions.
