We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full Time Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Handle payments efficiently, including processing cash and card transactions
- Assist in setting up dining areas before service and clearing after closing hours
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and potential allergens
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper serving techniques
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated time management skills to ensure prompt service delivery
- A proactive attitude towards guest services and upselling opportunities
