Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with some flexibility required outside these hours. The team also operates an emergency on-call phone line which is on an approximately 1 in 15 weeks rota.

Salary: £32,960.00 per year + Company Van

The Ideal Person:
· An experienced Joiner with proven skills in repairs, maintenance and refurbishment work.
· A formal Joinery qualification is preferred, although strong practical experience will also be valued.
· Experience fitting fire doors is essential.
· Experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms would be beneficial.
· Experience fitting and/or repairing UPVC doors and windows
· Able to deliver a customer-focused building repair and maintenance service with care, professionalism and respect.
· Committed to a “Right First Time” approach, completing work on the first visit wherever practicable and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
· Able to work independently, manage a varied workload and respond flexibly to the needs of the service.
· A full UK driving licence is required.
· Own tools are preferred, although equipment will be provided where required. A company van is provided.
(Please note: Our fleet insurance requires drivers to have had a licence for a minimum of 2 years and be over 25.)
What you will do:
· Joinery, Repairs and Maintenance
Carry out day-to-day joinery and general maintenance repairs, including re-fittings, repairs to damaged fixtures, broken windows, holes in walls, flooring and other property issues.
· Fire Door Works and Safety Standards
Fit and repair fire doors, frames, architraves and skirting boards to support safe, compliant homes for our residents.
· Refurbishments and HMO Conversions
Support full house refurbishments and HMO conversions across our housing stock, including work connected to kitchens, bathrooms and internal finishes.
· Quality Workmanship and First-Time Fixes
Complete work to a good standard, aiming to resolve repairs on the first visit wherever possible.
· Customer-Focused Service
Work respectfully in occupied homes and shared accommodation, providing a reliable, professional and approachable service.
· Team Contribution and Flexibility
Work closely with the maintenance and PSO teams, support wider property needs across the organisation and take part in the emergency on-call rota when required.
