Join Sodexo as a Cleaner/Porter at Newbold Revel Training College, supporting the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across this important training environment. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming setting for staff, learners, and visitors.
You’ll be responsible for a range of general cleaning duties throughout the college, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard. Working closely with the onsite team, your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will help create a positive environment where people can learn, work, and develop.
Newbold Revel Training College provides a professional learning environment, and this role offers the opportunity to be part of a team that plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day experience of everyone who uses the site. Your work will make a real difference by helping to maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for all.
What you’ll do:

Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks across various sites.

Travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle and fuel card.

Manage your own schedule and take ownership of your tasks, ensuring everything is completed within the required timeframes.

Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other departments—so if you're a people person with a full UK driving licence, we’d love to hear from you!

Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas, including offices, kitchens, toilets, and communal spaces.

Restock essential supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, and sanitiser.

Be a proactive advocate for health and safety procedures at all times.
What you bring:

Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable, along with knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate uses.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Great communication and customer service skills.

The ability to work efficiently, adapt quickly, and keep up in a fast-paced environment.

A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to follow direction when needed.
