Duties:
- Respond to breakdown calls and attend to roadside incidents ensuring effective repairs
- Conduct diagnostics, electrical repairs, and related maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Fault finding and troubleshooting to identify mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Deliver excellent customer service directly at the roadside, maintaining a professional approach
- Work independently in dynamic environments, managing multiple incidents throughout the day
- Complete accurate documentation and reports on repair activities
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements for the Roadside Vehicle Technician Position:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a focus on diagnostics and electrical systems
- Qualification at Level 2 or higher in light vehicle maintenance or an equivalent standard
- Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work autonomously
- Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts between 6am and 12am, with up to 50% weekend rota participation
- Proactive attitude, capable of handling diverse breakdown scenarios
