Job Summary
We are seeking friendly and professional Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas throughout your shift
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in setting up tables and clearing after service
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer customer queries courteously
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Manage multiple tables effectively during busy periods with excellent time management skills
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Excellent time management to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service
