40 hour work / week. We are a health food company with our central production unit based in Mitcham,CR4. We are looking for a reliable & motivated individual to join our growing team.
We are looking for a professional Sous Chef to be a part of team of two Sous, supporting our Head Chef & Exec Head Chef specifications and guidelines. The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers satisfaction.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and inspect food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Create positive relationships with staff members and managers by treating all members with respect.
- Use a high level of cooking skills in the production of food dishes using modern food technology and methods.
- Act as a leader and exemplar to all chefs and kitchen staff in terms of preparing, presenting and serving all varieties of meals; be ‘hands-on’ in being involved in food production.
- Check the volume and quality of meal production, and adjust rotas and kitchen flow as needed to ensure optimum efficiency and quality is maintained..
Ideal Candidate
- You will be passionate about Food & Beverage or hospitality
- You will already be a supervisor within hospitality
- Will have experience of managing busy operations
- Ability to drive and motivate teams
