Overview
We are seeking a skilled fabricator/welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of sheet metal work and fabrication techniques.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects around the country, on small to large scale projects. The position is suitable for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate components and assemblies using hand, power, and general sheet metal equipment.
- Perform TIG/MAG welding on stainless and general engineering steels, ensuring high standards of quality and precision.
- Use previous knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication and welding processes.
- Read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately to guide fabrication tasks.
- Adhere to quality procedures and specifications and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace always adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding thin gauge stainless steel within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work, fabrication techniques, and finishing processes.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Be flexible to work in manufacturing facility or in other site locations in UK.
- CSCS accreditation desirable but time will be given to gain accreditation.
- Must have Full UK driver’s license.
- Work well within a small team to achieve the required goals and deadlines.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
