This competitive Counter Staff role is for Bakery on the Hill, Burford, and will involve serving customers, making-up trays, coffee, drinks, clearing tables, running the dishwasher, operating the till, learning how to get the shop ready in the morning or closing and cleaning down in the afternoon.
Perfect for anyone looking for either part-time or full-time work. The ability to be present in Burford for opening (7:30am) and/or closing (6pm) is essential.
The work is friendly and fast paced for much of the day and highly service orientated.
Applicants must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, which involves standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and moving at pace.
Previous experience in serving customers, making drinks etc will be an advantage but training and support will be provided as needed.
As a daytime business, this would be an ideal position for someone looking to keep their evenings free or avoid an environment of split shifts.
The position is part or full time with shift hours from 6:30/7:30am to 5pm/6pm.
The average hours per week will be 40hrs/week with two 15 min breaks throughout the day and with a complimentary staff meal.
