Walter Miles Electrical Engineers currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to plan, manage and supervise electrical projects from conception to completion. The individual suited to this role will be highly motivated, dynamic with a “can do” attitude.
Walter Miles Electrical Engineers is an expanding Electrical Contractor based in Leicester, who’s core works are the installation of electrical services in predominantly new distribution warehouses but also offices and residential buildings.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for successfully performing the following tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Managing projects from the designed stage through to completion.
- Submitting and reviewing drawing and technical submissions for approval.
- Attending site meetings and interacting with the clients team.
- Control of labour and ensure projects are running to program and within budget.
- Develop and maintain good levels of communication with team members, customers and clients
- Be actively involved in providing H&S CDM documents, Programmes for work, Contract meetings and O&M Manuals

Essential:
· Self-motivated with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision and the ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, customers and clients.
· A good level of technical awareness and understanding of the electricity services.
· Project management of construction schemes in an CDM environment
· Ability to read and understand electrical and building service drawings.
· Good computer skills, in common office applications, such as MS word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
· Competent level of English for written and spoken communication
