Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated MSK (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, helping them regain mobility and reduce pain. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with musculoskeletal complaints, including injury evaluation and functional limitations.
- Develop personalised treatment programmes based on physiological principles, patient needs, and clinical best practices.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, mobilisation, and electrotherapy techniques.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimise recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance long-term health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies.
- Collaborate with medical teams, including doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in musculoskeletal physiotherapy through continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications
- recognised degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or relevant governing body.
- Proven hospital experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment is highly desirable.
- Experience in paediatrics or working with specialised patient groups is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal conditions.
- Demonstrable commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced clinical settings.
