Care Workers – Oxford (OX1, OX2, OX3 and OX4 3PQ)

Eleanor Nursing and Social Care is a premium domiciliary care company, providing high-quality and much-needed support to vulnerable people. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable Care Workers to join our thriving team working between OX1, OX2, OX3 and OX4 3PQ.
Annually, we deliver over 2 million hours of vital care services, including in the local area of Oxford, supporting and enabling our service users with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, domestic services, and companionship, to help them regain independence within a set period.

What Will You Be Doing?
Our Care Workers work across OX1, OX2, OX3 and OX4 3PQ and surrounding community, enabling our service users to live independently in their own homes. Typical support can include:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Food preparation
- Administering medication
- Shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Light housework and other domestic chores
- Companionship and social support
- Enabling and supporting
- Confidence building
- Goal setting and regular review
- Effective communication and motivational strategies
- Working with clients who may be reluctant or anxious
- Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
Who Are We Looking For?
You need to be calm, patient, hard-working, reliable, and resourceful, with an ability to always maintain professionalism, think on your feet, and stay calm in stressful situations. Above all, you must be committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable people.
This role is ideal if you have experience caring for a relative or other vulnerable people and are looking for a new and rewarding way to put these skills to good use. You must be local to commute between OX1, OX2, OX3 and OX4 3PQ surrounding city areas and be familiar with all locations. We offer flexible working hours but have particularly high demand during the following core times

Requirements:
- Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom
- Must pass an Enhanced DBS check
- Provide references from previous employers
- You must be local to commute between OX1, OX2, OX3 and OX4 3PQ surrounding city areas
- Must have availability during core hours (07:00 to 14:00, 16:00 to 22:00)
