Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative (part time) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that our facilities remain safe, welcoming, and well-presented for staff and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to meet health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll to maintain operational efficiency
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete all required documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in professional environments
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Good communication skills to report issues clearly and effectively
