About the role
We're looking for one experienced joinery site fitter for an office installation in Mayfair, central London. The job is 3 days on site in Mayfair (Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17 September), preceded by a paid 1-day induction at our Camberwell (SE5) workshop on Monday 14 September so you're familiar with the units before they land.
Contract: 4 days, CIS self-employed. All 4 days paid, including the induction.
Start date: Monday 14 September
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm, 30-minute unpaid break, 7.5 paid hours per day
What you'll be doing
- Attending a paid 1-day workshop induction in Camberwell ahead of the site start
- Installing bespoke office joinery
- Scribing, levelling and fixing to existing finishes
- Working to drawings and setting-out
- Snagging and finishing to a high standard for a client-facing space
- Keeping the area clean and protected throughout
What we're looking for
- Proven site fitting experience on commercial or high-end fit-out
- Confident with scribing, levelling and fixing into varied substrates
- Valid CSCS card
- Own hand tools and power tools
- UTR number and registered for CIS
- Right to work in the UK
Beyond this job
This is a 4-day contract, but we're looking for fitters we can call on again. Do well here and you'll be added to our fitter group for first refusal on upcoming work.
