We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Mix paints and primers to match colour specifications accurately
- Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint evenly across vehicle surfaces
- Use hand tools for surface preparation and minor repairs prior to painting
- Ensure all painted surfaces are free from defects such as runs, drips, or overspray
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Perform quality checks on finished work to meet company standards and client expectations
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of painting equipment as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or in a similar automotive refinishing role
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle bodywork and painting processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and spray guns effectively
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching and surface finish quality
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical fitness suitable for standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to automotive painting environments
