Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organised Building Control Officer (BCO) to support facilities operations on site. This is a facilities-focused, computer-based role involving administrative support, job management, and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of site operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for closing completed jobs, updating systems accurately, and ensuring operational tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and close completed maintenance and facilities jobs using internal computer systems
- Support daily site operations and facilities coordination
- Monitor and update work orders, reports, and service requests
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly
- Liaise with site teams, contractors, and management to ensure tasks are completed on time
- Respond to operational queries and provide administrative support where required
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
- Assist with general facilities administration and operational duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in facilities, administration, or operational support roles preferred
- Good computer and data entry skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Flexible and reliable with the ability to work split shifts
