Overview
The Family Support Worker plays a crucial role in providing assistance and guidance to families in need. This position involves working closely with children and their families to promote well-being, enhance family dynamics, and support the development of children. The Family Support Worker will engage with families to identify their needs and provide tailored support to help them navigate challenges effectively.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to understand the specific needs of families and children.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with families.
- Provide practical assistance and advice on parenting skills, child development, and family dynamics.
- Facilitate access to community resources, services, and programmes that benefit families.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and outcomes for each family supported.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers, educators, and healthcare providers.
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Day and night shifts, if you can't do night and day shifts do not apply.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
