Salary: £200.00 per day
A growing and progressive scaffolding company based in Hull is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB Driver to join its expanding team.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking for a reliable, professional, and motivated driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service and can work effectively on their own initiative.
The Role
As a HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of scaffolding materials to sites across Hull, East Yorkshire, and surrounding areas.
This is primarily a Monday to Friday position, with occasional Saturday work available as business needs require.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence
- Current and valid Remote HIAB Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Clean UK driving licence preferred
- Excellent understanding of driver compliance and road safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience within the scaffolding industry
- Experience delivering construction or scaffolding materials
- Knowledge of local routes across Hull and the surrounding region
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect scaffolding materials safely and efficiently
- Operate HIAB equipment in accordance with current safety standards
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a professional manner
- Maintain compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time regulations
- Keep accurate delivery documentation and vehicle records
- Support operational teams to meet customer requirements
