ROLE: MATCHDAY SUPPORTER LIAISON OFFICER
TYPE: PART-TIME

In line with UEFA requirements, a match day Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) will act as a point of contact at the Club for supporters and their representatives, assisting where appropriate the management of communication between fans and the Club at Men's First Team Matches.

As a match day SLO you will also be responsible for liaising with other departments within the Club as required, to ensure service standards are maintained.

The job holder will also support the provision of inclusive, accessible facilities and collaborate with the Club’s Disabled Supporters and Disabled Access Officer on all related matters.

Key accountabilities

Liaise and build relationships with the various supporter groups
Attend meetings between supporters, Club and institutional representatives with the aim of improving dialogue and understanding between the respective parties when required
Attend fan events and focus groups and attend supporter club meetings when required
Correspond with fans, answering calls, forwarding or writing emails and letters and dealing with customer enquiries when required
Represent the Club by participating in working groups on supporter related issues when required
Liaise with Security/Operations in respect of matchday/supporter issues
Liaise and meet with SLO’s of other clubs as required
Attend Celtic First Team matches to support the SLO and Travel Stewards, Home & Away as required

Skills and Experience required

Experience of contact with the networks in the Club’s fan base
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Used to working on own initiative
Demonstrable understanding of the Club's Fan Base

Additional Requirements

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and match days
