Position: Class 1 - Days - Wisbech
- · Location: Lynn Road, Wisbech, PE14 7AL.
- · Employer: Knowles Logistics Ltd.
- · Salary: £15.00 per hour + “Good Driver” Bonus Incentive.
- · Working Hours: Various Shifts available starting from 02.00 hrs. Minimum 40 hrs guaranteed per 5 shift week.
- Holidays: 28 days including Bank Holidays.
- Reporting To: Transport Managers

Experience Required:
- C+E Licence
- Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience.
- Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures.
- Good knowledge of securing loads with straps.
- Work well independently using initiative and common sense.
- Open and transparent communication verbal and written.
- Familiarity with GPS devices / able to read a map.
- Up to date CPC training.
- Comfortable being based on the road and in own company.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines that may require additional hours of work at times of pressure.
- Be professional and courteous when communicating with colleagues or customers and have excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively – Including updating load details on mobile phone TMS Apps.
Responsibilities:
- Flexibility during peak periods e.g. Christmas, Easter, etc. and to work additional shifts to cover holiday and sickness
- Liase with the Transport Desk
- Ensure that the vehicle is driven with the utmost concern for other road users, pedestrians and the local environments through which you travel.
- To accurately complete all documentation required by the Company and the customer.
- To strive to ensure the punctual collection and delivery of all loads.
- Follow all Company rules and regulations and to ensure that compliance with legislation is achieved.
