A respected regional law firm in Barnsley is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established and growing property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor who is looking for a varied caseload, strong client contact and the opportunity to develop their career within a successful regional law firm.
You will work closely with a range of commercial clients, dealing with a broad mix of property transactions while having the autonomy to manage your own workload.
The Role
Your caseload will include:

Commercial property sales and purchases

Commercial leases, including drafting and negotiation

Commercial landlord and tenant matters
-
Acquisition and disposal of registered and unregistered land

Agricultural land transactions
-
Advising clients throughout the transaction process from initial instruction through to completion

Negotiating documentation and providing commercially focused legal advice

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider property team
About You
The successful candidate will be a Commercial Property Solicitor and will ideally have experience across a broad range of commercial property work.
You will have:

Strong technical knowledge of Commercial Property Law

Experience managing your own commercial property caseload

Good drafting and negotiation skills

Excellent client care and communication skills
-
A commercially focused approach to your work

Strong organisation and attention to detail

The ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team

The ability to commute to Barnsley
