Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher committed to closing the attainment gap and helping every child reach their full potential? U-Educate is seeking an enthusiastic Pupil Premium Teacher to support schools across Fareham.
This rewarding role focuses on delivering targeted interventions and high-quality teaching for pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding, helping to raise attainment, build confidence, and remove barriers to learning.
The Role
As a Pupil Premium Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions for pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding.
- Work with individuals and small groups to accelerate progress in English, Maths, and other core subjects.
- Use assessment data to identify learning gaps and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders to develop personalised learning plans.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents where appropriate.
- Create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within UK schools.
- A strong understanding of effective intervention strategies and raising pupil attainment.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to supporting disadvantaged pupils and promoting educational equality.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
