Salary: £24,883 per year
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (40 weeks per year)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Opportunities may become available at one of the following locations:
- Shillingford (Exeter)
- Crediton
- South Brent
- Tiverton

About the Role
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you'll work directly with an individual learner, supporting their educational journey through our unique outdoor curriculum.
Working closely with curriculum staff, you'll help create engaging learning experiences tailored to each learner's individual needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes learner wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to help learners access education and achieve their individual goals.
- Use positive behaviour support strategies to encourage engagement and independence.
- Support hands-on outdoor learning activities throughout the school day.
- Work alongside Tutors, Lead Tutors and the wider team to adapt learning to meet individual needs.
- Embrace outdoor learning in all seasons, reflecting our Forest School ethos.
