Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a lively restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or food preparation is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills and grow with the business as we begin to expand.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable upon arrival
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Support bar operations, including serving drinks as needed (barista experience is a plus)
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Assist in setting up tables, clearing after service, and preparing the dining area for new guests
Skills
- Proven experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous restaurant experience or barista experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with organisation and professionalism
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and contributing positively to the team
- Personal qualities such as reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential
