Duties
- Develop and implement a calendar of activities that cater to residents’ interests, including arts and crafts, music therapy, games and reminiscence sessions
- Foster a warm atmosphere by encouraging participation and building relationships with residents
- Lead activity sessions with enthusiasm, ensuring safety and engagement at all times
- Maintain accurate records of participation, feedback, and activity outcomes to monitor resident progress
Requirements
- Good communication skills to effectively engage residents of varying abilities
- Passion for caregiving with a genuine desire to improve residents’ daily experiences
- Ability to organise, motivate, and lead group activities confidently
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on individual needs and changing circumstances
- A caring attitude combined with good interpersonal skills to foster trust and joy among residents
