Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as pastries, and other light snacks.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Operate cash registers and process transactions using basic maths skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and dining areas regularly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth shop operations during shifts.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Food preparation skills for assembling snacks and beverages.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently.
