Maintenance Technician – Full Time
Location: Skegness/ Onsite

Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM
Hames Chocolates Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Skegness.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on chocolate production and packing machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and mechanical failures.
- Liaise with machinery manufacturers regarding spare parts, technical information, and breakdown support.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, including electricians.
- Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records and associated paperwork.
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.
- Work closely with other departments to support efficient production operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.

Working Hours & Benefits
- Approximately 40–45 hours per week

- 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays and Christmas shutdown
