Job Description:
As an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will be working directly with our multiple award-winning orthodontist and clinical team, helping to provide patients with an exceptional and friendly service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Patient liaison and point of contact for orthodontic enquiries by new and existing patients
- Ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our orthodontic patients, striving for high-end personalised and caring service.
- Appointment scheduling, managing and organising the orthodontic diaries to ensure optimal scheduling and efficiency.
- Preparing letters and treatment plans following orthodontic consultations
- Patient Consultations to discuss their orthodontic needs, treatment options, and financial considerations.
- Financial Coordination: Providing detailed information about treatment costs, insurance coverage, and payment options to patients
- Patient Education: Educating patients on orthodontic procedures, treatment expectations, and aftercare instructions.
- Records Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and financial information.
- Communication and Follow-up: Maintaining regular communication with patients to address their questions, concerns, and progress throughout the treatment process.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with the orthodontic team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and exceptional patient experiences.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Exceptional communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the dental team.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
- Dental Background: Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Orthodontics: Familiarity with orthodontic treatment procedures, appliances, and terminology is desirable.

- Organizational Skills: Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with the orthodontic team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
